	Having logged more than 60 dives in a quarry, I thought diving in Hawaii would be a breeze. I considered myself well-versed in cold and murky water. Surely the tropical beauty of Hawaii would be easier than what I had already done. I soon found out that diving with an experienced guide is a must for us vacationers! I was unprepared for surge, currents and the myriad fish, octopi, eels and other creatures I encountered. Lisa and Roger were more than just guides. From tips on boat etiquette to safety precautions for ocean diving to fish identification, Oahu Scuba Divers has it covered! Lisa and Roger spent their dives looking for creatures to show me that I would not have noticed on my own. And topside they told me the names of each animal and details about them I couldn’t have imagined. They even had stamps for my logbooks so I would remember what they all looked like. Oahu Scuba Divers is more than just another dive operation. They know all the good dive sites, but they also are ready to help out with advice on where to eat, where to shop and where to tour. Each dive day ended with a gourmet picnic on the water, a logbook overview and great conversation. The photos I bought from Lisa’s collection captured the essence of my dives and a Snap Shot Tour makes a vacation complete.
